MIXTAPE REVIEW: Top Dolla Sweizy "Heart In the Hood"
Recording Artist released his highly anticipated Mixtape "Heart In The Hood" yesterday and I must say the album is a must have. The album details the struggle, the triumph, and the future of Top Dolla Sweizy and you get a feel of just how serious his pen game is.
The mixtape starts of with "Heart In The Hood(Intro)" a nod to his upbringing and how Top Dolla will never forget the road he came from.
Some of his most realest and most vulnerable songs were "Problems" & "Own Planet" Featuring Supa Trippa
"Nobody said this ***t was gon be easy, who said it was gon be/ I really come from the trap, now I blend in with the stars/ Blood sweat and them tears I put my heart in this ***t"
Top Dolla Sweizy paints the picture of his world and allows you to visit it through each track.
I would classify the album as urban trap meets rock hop (hip hop & Rock) because certain songs you can totally rock out to, but yet trap to it at the same time.
OVERALL THE ALBUM IS A 10/10
