EVENT REVIEW: Ty Cobb's "Beat University" Book Release Party
Is your face BEAT? In the words of Miss Largesty herself; Media Maven, Producer and MUA Ty Cobb, is here to make sure everyone looks Beat to capacity. Though she already does everything, one more notch has been added to her belt and that is Author.
"Beat University" is her new book that tackles the University life with a twist of MUA. We gathered earlier this year to celebrate this milestone and I must say the turn out was beyond overwhelming. So much love and support geared in effort of Ty's newest addition to her already long resume.
Held at new attraction Alba Osteria, catered to a complete packed house and being the busy lady that she is, she in fact too was also filming her second season of the hit reality show "Real Makeup Artists of DC". Just that alone, lets you know that the girl is about her business.
The book itself was completely sold out by the end of the night and word around town is this book is epic, so we may smell another TV creation soon.
Hosted By another Media Maven and Editor Chey Parker, who had the room moving and dancing and really just hyping the crowd, which led to even greater vibes.
The event in itself was a FULL LARGE (Ty Cobb lingo). From the atmosphere to the location to the music to the lighting to the host, everything worked together to make this night beyond epic. This event was something worth capturing and also allowed me to see first hand the makeup world in its element.
Upon leaving the event, I captured girls just wanting to meet and hear advice from Ty and it was a breath of fresh air seeing her in her element and willing to help and guide others. From The Media Prince standpoint, JOB WELL DONE. Everything was a complete success and everything sold out and everyone left happy, so without further ado, check out the rating below.
