The 28-year-old producer, also known as Roslin Nzokou, is a Cameroonian-American from Silver Spring, Maryland.
Blvck Rose developed his appreciation for beat construction and production in high school through inspiration from greats such as Kanye West, Just Blaze, The Neptunes and Timbaland. Growing up in a diverse community in the suburbs of Washington D.C., he was fortunate enough to experience a variety of cultures and music, which has greatly influenced his music and musical taste. Blvck Rose has worked with an array of local DMV artists such as FùNSHO (S.H.E.), Eyedeal Bayano (No Longer Boxed In), Ikey (Green Card) and more.
