EVENT REVIEW: AAMBC Weekend & Awards (African American On The Move Book Club)
AAMBC, which stands for Afr\can American on The Move Book Club, is an established brand dedicated to the uplifting and advocacy for African American Authors, Writers & Poets. This amazing brand takes place each year to celebrate the greatness of the literary work industry and provides a complete platform that introduces writers off all calibers to new audiences in the new social world. With usually over 600 attendees consisting of multicultural authors from all genres with musicians, actors, and key social influencers, combined for a weekend of live entertainment, an intimate meet and greet with celebrity authors, and a star-studded red carpet with celebrity guest appearances.
I was fortunate enough to attend this year with my Publicist Sandra Nnaji owner of Just 1 PR Firm, who in fact was the PR & Social Media Marketer for the entire weekend. Atlanta is such a busy town and this weekend was just that, BUSY! Immediately dropping our bags off we got on the road to head to a book bash filled with talented Celebrity and upcoming Authors from across the country.
The experience was amazing and I got to meet so many talented authors including thee Andria Mayberry (Media Strategist/Philanthropist/Author) and mom of Fox Empire Star Bryshere Gray a.k.a Yazz . The night was full of networking and business opportunities for some of the attendees. Held at ATL attraction Pauley's, called for nothing but an awesome atmosphere.
Day 2 kicked in which is the day of panels and the awards. Now the awards are the big deal, all the whose who's were in the building all there to celebrate the greatness of these fantastic authors.

Founder and Creator Tamika Newhouse could not be more happy and proud from the amazing turnout, pure success and a completely packed house.
Day 3, the finale saw us covering a panel of Tamika and her business partners also known as Queen Pens.

As an attendee for the first time, I was beyond impressed by the level of organization and the complete attendance of the entire weekend. This is an event I would definitely come to again for another year. For all upcoming authors and fellow writers looking to excel and grow, AAMBC is exactly the place to be.
