EVENT REVIEW: Pinky Killacorn PRESENTS................ "Pinky & The Pain ALBUM RELEASE"
Pinky Killacorn is back and ready to takeover 2019.
The Recording Artist who has become the Nation's Capitol staple brought us her new full length LP "Pinky & The Pain".
She launched her new record with a lituation held at the beloved Big Chief in Ivy City to a sold crowd who were all just as eager to hear the project as Pinky was to be on the stage giving it to us.
Hosted by none other than Comedian and DC Media And Radio Personality Joe Clair of The Joe Clair Morning Show on WPGC 95.5FM, set for an amazing atmosphere of bot funny and urban appeal and with DJ Kerim on the ones and twos , one could pretty much picture an epic night is what took place 2002 Fenwick Street.
Pinky joined the stage after allowing the party to mix and mingle and gave us track after track until this listening party became an all out concert. The energy of the room was radiant and you could see the gleam in her eyes that this album meant a special deal to her and showcasing her baby to us was something precious and well received.
My favorite track from the LP is "Cumin" which I feel showcases Pinky in her complete element much of what we witnessed that night of February 6th.
The event in entirety was a huge success and an attest to Black History Month as Pinky Killacorn is making history with her amazing craft which has garnered the likes of International Superstar Neo-Soul Singer Erykah Badu.
